CLDN website and photography

With the branding knocked out we transitioned quickly onto the website. After critical questions were answered, work began right away. In a platform comparison the “plug-and-play” offered an ease of use. WIX was the undeniable winner. Platforms such as Weebly, WIX, Squarespace, WordPress, Google Sites were all considered. In the end, the ease of use/changes, navigation and features of gallery, blogging, forms and additional communication offered through WIX Shout Out application mail program won the vote.

Within 16 weeks of gathering new photos and working with a team to write new content the new www.CLDNMN.org site was born. This site serves as a place to come and learn a little about this historic organization and what it has to offer within the community of Rochester, Minnesota.

Utilizing the WIX platform allows the admin to govern all content and if necessary parse out contributor roles to help with blogging content. Featuring innovative galleries matched with my photography was  paramount to communicate the ever youthful learning that occurs each and every day.

In one instance someone asked, “Are these really your kids at Civic League?”  Yes. “No stock images here.”

I encourage you to take a spin around our special events galleries to take a peek at the trips and fun these kiddos have. View the garden from planting to harvest, watch a bunny roam and a sunflower bloom throughout the summer season.

Read about the history of the house and watch unfold on my favorite page, In the News maybe even consider donating to this amazing organization.

Throughout this time of working with CLDN it has been my pleasure to create the visuals for fundraisers, assist with managing the event itself, increase community awareness and put the love effort into a shining gem of an organization.

More H.O.P. Log (Highlight on Projects) posts to come sharing art details creating the Share your Love fundraiser brand identity, a benefit for CLDN.
